Shopper-Choice Pantry

At MT Hope House, we chose a shopper-choice pantry model because it restores dignity and autonomy to the families we serve. Instead of receiving a pre-packed box of food, guests are able to walk through the pantry and select the items that best fit their household’s needs, dietary preferences, and cultural traditions. This approach reduces food waste, ensures families receive foods they will actually use, and creates a more welcoming, grocery-store-like experience. Most importantly, a shopper-choice pantry recognizes that everyone deserves the respect of making their own choices—especially during difficult seasons—while still receiving the support they need.

How Hope House Works

New Clients-

If you are visiting MT Hope House for the first time, you can simply walk in and complete a short paper application. This application allows us to create your client profile and unlock your personal client portal, which will be used to schedule future visits and manage your pantry information. If you have internet access, you may also call us and provide your email address so we can send the application digitally for you to complete online.

Every website has a story, and your visitors want to hear yours. This space is a great opportunity to provide any personal details you want to share with your followers. Include interesting anecdotes and facts to keep readers engaged.

Returning Clients-

Returning clients can easily schedule their pantry visit through their PantrySoft client portal. After logging in, simply request a shopper’s appointment for a time that works best for you. This system helps us manage visits efficiently and ensures each family has a smooth, organized shopping experience when they arrive.
